Python Certification
A lead, also spelled lede, is the opening line of a story that delivers the essential information upfront, orienting the reader to the subject and significance of what follows.
What is Pybites Certification?
A Pybites certification is a verification that a developer can translate syntax into working, production-grade software. While traditional certifications test your ability to memorize facts for an exam, Pybites certifications validate your ability to build, test, and deploy applications. Our certification is earned solely through the successful completion of rigorous, hands-on coding projects under the review of a senior developer. It is proof that you don’t just know Python, you can use it.

FAQs
What’s the difference between Associate (PCPD-A) and Professional (PCPD-P)?
PCPD-A is for those starting their journey or standardizing their foundational skills (Junior/Scripting level). PCPD-P is for those aiming for Senior roles, focusing on architecture, testing, and full application lifecycles.
Are these certifications recognized by the industry?
The industry recognizes competence. A Pybites certification is backed by a public portfolio of code on your GitHub. When an employer asks, “Can you do the job?”, you don’t just show them a certificate; you show them the production code that earned it. That is the highest form of recognition.
I’m an experienced dev, can I skip straight to professional (PCPD-P)?
Yes. If you are already comfortable with basic Python and Git, the Pybites Developer Mindset (PDM) program (and the PCPD-P cert) is the correct level for you.
Is there a multiple-choice exam I can take?
No. Multiple-choice tests prove you can memorize; they don’t prove you can build. To get certified, you must build actual software and have it passed by a Human Senior Developer Coach.
