TL;DR
- Coaching: Moving out of Pybites to our personal sites.
- Coding Platforms: No change.
- Community: No change.
- Podcast/Newsletter: On hiatus.
After almost 6 years of coaching together through Pybites, we’ve decided to sunset the PDI and PDM Programs. We’re choosing to focus on our unique strengths and provide our own coaching services outside of Pybites:
- Bob’s strength is the code: reviews, architecture, building real things with Python, Rust, and AI.
- Julian’s strength is the mindset: helping developers get unstuck, build confidence, think bigger and navigate their careers.
We’ll be better coaches when we each go deep on our own thing.
Most importantly, and to clarify, Pybites isn’t going away. The blog, the community, and the coding platforms (Python and Rust bites) are all staying as is. We’ll still be committed to supporting these products and being present within the community.
What this does unfortunately mean is that we’re also discontinuing the weekly newsletter and the Pybites Podcast. The podcast is especially hard to let go given the positive feedback we’ve consistently received. For now, we need to focus on these new chapters in our careers. We’ll continue creating quality content, just from different places.
If you’re currently seeking coaching, we’ll now be providing coaching services on our own personal sites, and no longer under the Pybites brand.
Where to find us
Bob Belderbos: belderbos.dev – Developer coaching: Python, Rust, AI, code architecture, career growth for developers.
Julian Sequeira: LinkedIn – DM for Mindset and career coaching: confidence, clarity, breaking through the blocks that hold developers back.
A Sincere Thank You
We can’t thank you enough for being part of this chapter of Pybites’ history.
Pybites started as us, just two techie guys, learning Python together. We’ve grown a lot over the years coaching together. The highlight has definitely been meeting such wonderful and inspiring people all over the world.
We’re grateful for what we’ve learned and built!
For those of you that know us well, you know that we often say that “growth happens outside of your comfort zone”. This is us stepping outside of our comfort zones into bigger and bolder things.
We hope you’ll continue to follow and join us for this next chapter!
Bob & Julian
