At Pybites, we revolutionize Python learning. We’re all about JIT (Just-In-Time) learning, eliminating tutorial paralysis, and embracing the art of building and shipping code.
Our primary focus? Helping you overcome imposter syndrome by fostering a mindset where you’re constantly learning, growing, and, most importantly, shipping code. With us, you gain not just Python expertise, but also the confidence to use it effectively.
Who We Are
Founded on December 19, 2016, by Bob Belderbos and Julian Sequeira, Pybites has evolved into a thriving coaching company.
Bob, transitioning from finance to IT, brings over 15 years of programming experience, specializing in automation and web development.
Julian, with experience in servers, data centers, communications, and programming, focuses his efforts on communication and mindset.
Our diverse team of developer and career coaches is dedicated to fostering your growth in Python and beyond.

Our Journey
Pybites started as a festive project in late 2016, born from a shared passion for Python between founders Bob and Julian. Bob aimed to deepen his Python skills, while Julian was eager to break into programming. This journey began with a tech blog, producing daily content and engaging in a 100-day coding challenge.
Our collaboration with Talk Python led to the creation of two comprehensive 100 days of code courses. We then developed our own coding platform, using Django, to offer a more interactive learning experience.
By 2020, we recognized a gap: while many improved their Python skills with us, they still needed guidance to become full-fledged developers, particularly in adopting the right mindset. This led to the launch of our Pybites Developer Mindset program, which has been transformative. Our participants not only enhance their Python skills but also develop a strong developer mindset, completing the program with tangible projects and boosted confidence.
As of late 2023, we’ve added an official certification to further validate the expertise of those who train with us, solidifying their status as skilled developers.
